Those who purchase the Sony Ericsson Vivaz on 3 will find the handset comes pre-installed with the Spotify for Symbian gadget.
According to the network, the phone is “all about sharing” – and the Spotify application epitomises this, enabling users to pass on and receive their favourite songs and playlists.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz also comes with an eight-megapixel camera and high-definition video recording capabilities, meaning it could be ideal for those who want style as well as substance.
3UK head of branded devices Sylvia Chind said customers will be able to benefit greatly from smartphones such as the Vivaz “whether you are using the integrated social networking applications like Facebook and Twitter, uploading to YouTube or sharing playlists with out exclusive Spotfiy deal”.
The phone is available in black, red or silver.
Last month, 3 announced the launch of the Nokia X6 on the network, offering extras such as unlimited Skype access and free use of Windows Live Messenger.
