sony-ericsson-w350-z555-w760For our next story, we head back to the CES in Las Vegas, where Sony Ericsson unveiled 3 new handsets to the public. And we have some specs for them, courtesy of Latest-Mobile.com.

Going in reverse order (you’ll see why in a minute) we start with the Z555, Sony Ericsson’s new premium phone, designed to compete against the likes of the Nokia 8800 Arte. With a very distinctive look, it’s certainly eye-catching, and with an OLED screen hidden underneath the exterior design, it’s going to light up like a Christmas tree when you get a call!

Next up is the W760, which is going to be a phone to watch out for. It’s Sony Ericsson’s first Walkman phone, nay, first EVER phone to have GPS built in. So, for the first time, Sony Ericsson are getting on the GPS bandwagon, and it can only be so long before we see it added to other phones in their range. Basically, think of this as a new W910i, with all of its trademark features like SensMe and Shake Control, only with a sat nav built in, as well.

But now, for the big one, the one that’s closest to my heart, and the one that put the biggest grin on my face: the W350. Reading the specs, it’s pretty obvious this is just a mid-range Walkman phone. 1.3 megapixel camera, TrackID, FM Radio… so, if it’s mid-range, why do I love it so much?

Well, look at this pic:

OLD SCHOOL TYPE FLIP PHONE, AHOY!!!! I LOVED my old Ericsson T28s, and this bad boy looks like it’s going to resurrect that classic design. About time, too, we haven’t had a properly-shaped flip phone for TOO long!

This year’s definitely going to be a good year for all my fellow Sony junkies out there!
