The Sony Ericsson Satio more than lives up to its billing as the most exciting new smartphone to hit the market in the run-up to Christmas, it has been claimed.
With telecoms industry observers now expecting the innovative handset to be a massive hit with technology fans over the peak festive period now that the company has overcome some early technical issues, experts are rushing to praise the device.
According to Business Mirror, the phone easily lives up to the initial hype, managing to offer users "unlimited entertainment" within a sleek, relatively lightweight metal shell.
As well as its market-leading music player feature, which boats not only excellent playback sound quality as well as formidable digital storage, the new handset also comes with the innovative Symbian operating system, allowing for enhanced usability.
However, it is the 12-megapixel camera built in to both the Sony Ericsson Satio and the Satio Sliver that has attracted particular praise, with the site singling out its geo-tagging function and super-sharp imaging capability.
Business Mirror concludes: "It brings all the formidable strengths of the company’s Walkman and Cybershot-branded mobile-communications solutions into a fantastic and satisfying whole."
At the same time, IBTimes has also praised the "amazing multimedia features" of the new Satio, which was first unveiled in Barcelona back in February.
