A wide range of new mobile phones are now available with the extra incentive of a free gift, including the recently launched Sony Ericsson Satio.

The device, which was recently described in a review for TechRadar as a touchscreen model that could be a "must-have" for photography lovers, boasts a 12-megapixel camera, 3G connectivity and the Symbian S60 operating system.

However, if that is not enough, buyers on selected contracts can also get their hands on a free laptop, LCD TV, PlayStation 3 or netbook.

Cashback offers are also to be had and a wide range of other mobiles are available from a selection of manufacturers and networks.

These include Samsung’s Tocco Lite, Jet and Genio, Nokia’s 5800, 6700 and 5530, Sony Ericsson’s W205, W995 and C510 and the BlackBerry Curve 8900, 8520 and new Bold 9700 – to name just a few.

The latter was announced last month and boasts a 2.44-inch light-sensing display, full qwerty keyboard, touch-sensitive trackpad, integrated Wi-Fi, a 3.2-megapixel camera and the new BlackBerry 5.0 operating system.
