Sony Ericsson has ironed out software problems experienced with some of its smartphones.
New software for Satio and Aino smartphones has been released by the firm’s UK and Ireland divisions.
The mobile phone maker said the new software has been approved by operators in the UK and will fix problems such as issues with the touch screen functionality of the mobile phones.
Downloading the software from the Sony Ericsson site should improve the performance speed of the handset, said the manufacturer.
Aino and Satio owners will also see better battery usage after updating their handset.
Showcasing the Aino earlier this year, Sony Ericsson suggested the handset is ideal for music lovers.
It said the handset’s WiFi compatibility meant users can transfer, organise and play all their media from their PC in a wireless way.
Alexandre Cardon, market business manager at Sony Ericsson, said the Aino is proof that the mobile phone maker wants to inject fun and innovation into its communication technology offerings.
