A new article has looked at some of the positives and negatives of one of the latest photography-focussed handsets in the Sony Ericsson range.

Tech Radar recently put the manufacturer’s Cyber-shot C903 device to the test and found that for those looking for a new cameraphone for everyday use, it could be just right.

Equipped with a five-megapixel sensor, it is noted the model could not live up to the likes of the Nokia N96 or LG Viewty, but added that overall, the results produced by the snapper were "detailed and accurately colourful".

The integrated autofocus and macro mode was also praised, as was a solid selection of shooting options and a menu system that is "easy to use and a reliable performer".

It concluded: "The C903 is a comfortable cameraphone for everyday use. It’s not the most sophisticated five-megapixel shooter you can find, but it … does a decent job on its spread of features."

Other devices in the Cyber-shot range include the Sony Ericsson C905, which was upgraded earlier this year.
