this morning i got a text at 3:48, it was my boyfriend of two years. he sent me a text saying i lover you, i woke up and responded telling him i loved him too. then he starting screaming at me (in text) that i was cheating on him and that he wanted to break up. i couldn't sleep after than and stayed up all night until my alarm went off for school. he then called me at 6:30 and told me he didn't recall texting me at all other than the i love you part. i didn't know what to believe because its happened before, but this time i was totally freaked out and so mixed up. it was so confusing..he kept saying that something comes over him like he gets possessed or something. so i googled "texting in your sleep" and i guess its possible....

On November 18 I went to see the midnight showing of harry potter and the deathly hollows, ( which would be nov 19th 12:01am ) I fell asleep around 3am that night and woke up at 9 to go to school. Later on that day I looked through my texts msg's and found a really odd one that had been sent at 6:45am. It read "Lol, I can get fake pics of harry potter." I did not send that msg while I wake...

My gf sleep-texts me all the time. This is a very real sleep disorder. At first she would send me messages that were words spelled correctly, but didn't make much sense put together and had no spacing between words and minimal punctuation such as ''willyoubemyknightinshiningarmor.butwaityouwouldnt.spidersfreakmeout.eightleggedfreaks.justlikepenguins.theyrelikelittlemenintuxedos'' and these messages usually run 3-4 pages long. She has been doing this for over a year now and it really isn't a problem b/c they're kinda funny, but she is slightly worried she will text the wrong person one night. Is there any way to remedy this problem? Aside from locking the phone in another room?

@ No. 5:
Eek, that's scary. It's essentially the same as sleepwalking, from what I can gather, so might be worth her seeing a doctor if it's a common occurence? If it is a problem, she'd most likely be referred to a sleep specialist.

@Sable:
That is impressive, especially since I rarely do that when I'm awake. But aye, sleep disturbances like this are proof positive that the human mind is a very strange thing indeed.

Last night, I was texting a friend, and thougt I had ended the conversation by saying "I'm falling asleep. Ttyl. Night". When I woke up thismorning, I foundout that I had only dreamed I sent that text, when, in reality, I had continued having an extremely weird conversation with him. I asked him if he thought it was weird, and he said he thought I was just joking and played along. The strangest part in all of this is that he thought I was awake because I had used perfect grammar, spelling, and punctuation, which is something I am usually very aware of.
