Stuff magazine said the phone’s "super" AMOLED WVGA hi-res screen is particularly useful when people are outside and under bright lights.

The 3.3-inch display – which uses the same technology as the manufacturer’s LCD and LED TVs – makes viewing from a variety of angles less of an issue.

A "speedy" 1GHz processor is another feature of the handset that is helpful for reducing load times and improving the performance of graphics and video.

People will be able to integrate their calendar events from social networking site Facebook, among others, straight to their device thanks to the Social Hub feature of its TouchWiz 3.0 interface.

Another new handset from the manufacturer is the Samsung GT-I8000 Omnia II Windows phone, which has an "impressive" camera, according to Trusted Reviews’ Niall Magennis.
