The Samsung GT-I8000 Omnia II Windows phone has an "impressive" camera, according to one writer.
Trusted Reviews’ Niall Magennis found that the shots taken with the handset’s five-megapixel camera looked "sharp and have pretty accurate-looking colours".
He praised the video shooting ability – an "impressive" 30 frames a second – of the gadget and also the features on the device, which include smile and face detection.
And the phone has better viewing angles and improved contrast ratios on its LED screen, compared to traditional displays with the lack of backlight making it more "power efficient".
At 3.7 inches the display is bigger than the Apple iPhone’s and its contrast is "excellent" indoors, while the device’s colours are "really in your face".
Other offerings from the manufacturer include the Samsung Jet Ultra Edition GT-S8000. The full-touch phone has a five-megapixel camera and runs on the Native operating system.
