The latest Samsung smartphone pits itself against popular mobile phones such as Nokia‘s E65, a new article has asserted.
According to Mobile Gazette, the manufacturer’s L870 is equipped with enough style, connectivity and extra features to warrant investigation and could prove a distraction to those considering Nokia‘s handsets.
It is noted that as well as being a 3.5G handset, the Samsung L870 runs using Symbian 9.3 technology and has an S60 3.2 interface.
However, it states that although this puts the L870 in N95 HSDPA slider territory, the model has priced itself in a way that means it has found something of a niche in the market.
"There’s no GPS, no Wi-Fi and the main camera resolution is less [than the N95]," the site concludes.
"But it does compare well against the Nokia E65 and the upcoming Nokia E66 slider."
According to phonesreview.co.uk, Nokia‘s E66 will replace the E65.
