The Samsung S5600 looks "quite tasty" and has been well designed to fit comfortably around in your hand, according to one reviewer.

Edward Chester, writing for Trusted Reviews, notes the phone’s curvy rear and said "Samsung has done a stellar job on this phone’s styling".

The 103 x 55 x 13mm mobile phone "certainly provides evidence that cheap doesn’t have to mean ugly", according to Mr Chester.

The 2.8-inch touchscreen phone comes in two models – the Preston model is available on Orange and the Blade is exclusive to Vodafone.

A TouchWiz operating system supports the phone, which allows the user to have a choice of three different homescreens to customise.

Mr Chester noted that the battery life was "impressive" and said the audio was "crisp".

Samsung’s creation has a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash plus smile shot and video recording is enabled.

The phone manufacturer recently announced that its Samsung Galaxy Portal would be available exclusively to T Mobile.
