Samsung has been very busy this year bringing the Samsung Wave and Galaxy S to market, with new versions in the pipeline for release this year.

And now it seems the Korean manufacturer has been working on yet another smartphone – the Samsung i8700 Cetus – and its being penciled in for a November launch.

The phone appeared on a leaked roadmap which technical website GSMArena reported on.

Little is known about the phone, which seems to have come out of nowhere

However, speculation is currently focusing on the phone’s operating system.

Some argue it is likely to have Samsung’s Bada operating system since the only series of phones currently running on it is the Wave family of smartphones.

Others predict it will run on Google Android, which is a safe guess since most manufacturers are now embracing the new kids on the block with Android 2.2 and 3.0 promising to give companies an edge over Apple with its iOS 4.
