A new set of multimedia-focused mobile phones have been announced by one South Korean manufacture.

According to Samsung, its latest models combine the latest in touchscreen technology with a selection of tools that will keep people entertained while on the go.

The first of the gadgets is the Mythic, which has a 3.3-inch front display with full qwerty keyboard, 3.2-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth technology and fast access to social networking.

It was advised that the Samsung Flight was more focused on messaging, with "a vertical sliding form factor" and a user interface described by the company as "unique".

The firm has not yet offered details of a UK release for the models, but for those looking for a pay-as-you-go solution, the firm’s Tocco Lite and Genio Touch were recently added to the Vodafone range.

Other Samsung devices currently available include the i7500 Galaxy, which is the first from the firm to come equipped with the Google Android system.
