Orange has announced the addition of a new handset to its range of smartphones.
Customers can now get their hands on the BlackBerry Curve 8900 as part of the network’s pay-as-you-go package – and can also enjoy six months-worth of free web browsing and email access.
The move follows the inclusion of the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 to its non-contracted offerings and, according to Orange, "builds on the success" of that particular launch.
Pippa Dunn, director of prepaid services at the carrier in the UK, said by adding the Curve to its line up it was enhancing the level of value available to its users.
"We’re delighted to extend our range to include the BlackBerry Curve 8900 – the first BlackBerry with a full qwerty keyboard on pay-as-you-go. With free email and web browsing for six months and at a great price of £249.99," she added.
The BlackBerry line of phones are manufactured by Research In Motion.
Will these new additions be a success?
