The forthcoming Nokia N97 is a gadget that completely tailors the internet to the needs and likes of the user, it has been claimed.
According to the manufacturer, which has confirmed that the handset will be available in more than 75 countries this month, the mobile phone is "fuelled by a multitude of music, maps, games, media and applications via Ovi".
The N97 is "fully customisable" and "transforms" the web, Nokia added.
It will include various widgets on the personalised home screen, with easy shortcuts to social networking sites.
And later in the year, different features and functions are set to be made available to users who can then upgrade their N97 to their choosing.
In addition, the Ovi Store offers free and paid content such as Twitter applications, games, podcasts, music and more.
Vice-president and head of Nokia NSeries Jonas Geust concluded: "The Nokia N97 is an important step towards our vision of delivering a highly personalised internet experience."
The manufacturer unveiled the phone last December.
