The Nokia E52 is a handset that may be capable of stealing the limelight from the firm’s other devices – if just for a moment, it has been noted.
Niall Magennis said in an article for Trusted Reviews this week that very often it is the likes of the N97 and N900 that take up the column inches, but this particular E-series model is also worthy of attention.
This is because the gadget looks like a simple candybar style option, but in fact carries the type of email and document editing functionality that might appeal to business users.
For this reason, Mr Magennis described the E52 as "a smartphone for those people who don’t really want a smartphone", adding: "The fact that it does this while still offering great battery life and brilliant call quality is just a bonus."
The model was unveiled by the Finnish manufacturer earlier this year. In addition to a revised interface for emailing, it features a 3.2-megapixel camera and GPS connectivity.
