Experts at the Link have branded a new Walkman mobile phone from Sony Ericsson "neat for the hand".

In an article looking at the W705 slider, the site notes that the device is similar in many ways to the W980i or the W880i models, but adds its compact and stylish build make it look and feel great.

"The design is sleek," the experts note, "and mixing silver, gold and brown as the colour scheme works surprisingly well."

Wi-Fi connectivity is another highlight – as well as access to YouTube and BBC iPlayer – and with a 4GB Memory Stick Micro included in the box there is plenty of space for music, video and other files.

Sony Ericsson‘s W705 also features a 2.4-inch 320 x 240-pixel screen, 3.2-megapixel camera and the manufacturer’s own Shake Control system.

The W980i Walkman phone features an expandable memory of up to 8GB as well as a built-in FM transmitter.
