Okay, folks, time for some hot new phone action (if you’ll pardon the expression), with three new videos of upcoming Sony Ericsson phones. First up is a phone I’m dying to get my hands on, to try it out. You all know it, if you’ve been reading this blog for a while. It’s the Sony Ericsson X2 Xperia, and the reason I want to try it out is because I am very, very torn between it and the HTC HD2. Y’know, for which one I’m going to get when my contract’s up.
So, imagine my excitement when a new hands-on video with the X2 appeared online.
The big question is, of course, whether it can do enough to keep my mind off the enormous screen and terrifyingly fast processor in the HD2. Let’s take a look and find out:
Damn. No. I mean I love the keyboard on that X2, and the camera is frankly awesome, but come on. HTC HD2; 4.3 inch screen. How can I ignore that? If the X2 had a 4.3 inch screen, I’d marry it, but it hasn’t, so…
Anyhow, that debate is one for another day, because now, there are vids for two new Sony Ericsson phones we’ve never seen before: the Susan and the Sunny (I’m guessing they won’t be their final release names). Both phones seem fairly similar, specs-wise, with 5MP camera, and SE’s standard phone interface, that you get on all their feature phones, up to and including the Sony Ericsson Aino. In fact, the only real difference I can see between the Susan and the Sunny is the form factor (’cos Susan’s a candybar phone, and Sunny’s a slider).
Not bad, not bad. I’m liking the curved back on them, that looks pretty sweet. Of course, they’re only feature phones, so I’m not going to get too excited, but hey, I can’t deny they look pretty nice…
