The Samsung M7600 Beat DJ is a handset that is both unusual in its feature set and attractive in its design, it has been advised.

According to Trusted Reviews, one of the key selling points of the device is an integrated music player that allows the user to scratch and mix tracks with its touch-enabled screen.

However, in an article for the site, Sandra Vogel pointed out this particular option has limited appeal and it is in fact the styling of the gadget that is most likely to appeal.

"The quirky physical design will win it some friends," she explained, highlighting the "nicely rounded corners" and "severe curves" of the gadget.

Also onboard the Samsung M7600 Beat DJ is a three-megapixel camera, integrated media player, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone socket, microSD card support and 50 MB of storage.

Cnet’s Flora Graham said this week that the mobile was also worth attention for its "lovely screen, unique appearance and a good range of features".
