One of the latest mobile phones to boast high-end photography facilities has gone under analysis this week.
According to Edward Chester of Trusted Reviews, the Samsung Pixon 12 – which also goes by the name of the M8910 – certainly looked like "the most camera-like" device he had seen on first glance.
He added the various photo-based technologies that have been crammed into the device do little to enhance its look, but explained that overall it was "undoubtedly the best camera phone we’ve used".
The 12-megapixel model is the first of its kind to be released and follows other devices in the company range that include the Samsung i8510 Innov8 – which boasts an eight-megapixel snapper.
In a second review, Cnet’s Flora Graham said the device had a camera that had "impressed us with its good range of options", but concluded by saying "frustrating" controls made it a decidedly "average" mobile.
is 12-megapixels enough, to many or too few?
