Yep, I am rapidly falling in love here. Again. With another Sony Ericsson phone. That I won’t be able to get till my contract’s up. Argh, life can be so cruel, sometimes! As you may have guessed, if you’ve read the blog over the last week, I’m talking about the Sony Ericsson X2, leaked photos and specs of which have popped up online recently.
According to the Boy Genius Report, yet another crop of photos has popped up online, and this time, they’re showing off the phone in its silver body.
There’s not really much I can say beyond what I already have, because I’ve already said at great length how I like it. Really like it. As in, “want one NOOOOOOOOOOW” like it. Still, at least the operating system is now confirmed as being definitely Windows Mobile 6.5 (which is nice, but I’ll still stick SPB Mobile Shell on top of it).
Intriguingly, on that same link, there’s a note of the processor type, and it’s… well, I have no idea what chip it will be, but after a bit of research, it looks like the latest ARM11 chipsets are running at about 700MHz, which is really rather fast. I would’ve preferred a 1GHz Snapdragon like you get in the Toshiba TG01, but hey, can’t win ‘em all!
My only dilemma, now, is whether to get the silver or the black version, when: 1/ it gets released; and 2/ my contract is up…
Oh, and a quick note to anyone out there who says it’s ugly: you’re clearly all delusional…
