Minimum specs for Windows Mobile 7 leaked

Windows Mobile 7 minimum specs leaked?Ok, the news yesterday, about the Zune phone being launched in June, may have been a hoax, but we never let a thing like that get us down for long. And anyway, today, a new rumour’s popped up, about Windows Mobile 7. There seems to be some debate on whether it’s actual specs for an upcoming phone, but many people, myself included, believe it’s something else.

It looks as though Microsoft have leaked the minimum system requirements WinMo 7 will need to run on, according to IntoMobile.

If that’s correct, they’re some rather nice specs. The list of processors it’ll work with are all nicely high-end and fast, it specifies a minimum flash memory requirement of 1Gb, and loads of extra gubbins like accelerometers as standard, digital compass, as standard, and best of all, multi-touch!

Ooh, and another good thing, it says the screen must have a minimum resolution of WVGA, and must be at least 3.5 inches across.

Can you guess that I’m drooling at this point?

Yes, I’m picturing the Toshiba TG01 running Windows Mobile 7. Oooh, that’s a niiiiiiiiiice mental image…
