The user software features on the LG Arena has been singled out for a new honour, it has emerged.
It was announced this week that the 3D S-Class system had been chosen in the Product Interfaces category at the 2009 iF Communication Design Awards.
The technology was given Gold status as part of the accolade and praised for its innovative design, functionality, convenience and aesthetics.
Commenting on the announcement, LG‘s president and chief executive officer for mobile communications Dr Skott Ahn said the company would continue to develop such software for its customers.
"Through recognition from this prestigious organisation, LG has once again proven its design expertise and innovation not only in physical appearance but also in user interface," he added.
Since its launch, the 3D S-Class system has been included on the Viewty Smart, GM730, GD900 Crystal and LG Arena – a flagship multimedia phone that was released earlier this year.
