People looking for a new mobile phone from a manufacturer that is committed to sustainable practices may like to consider the LG Arena.
This is because its creator has this week issued a new report which it states strengthens its position as a company with an environmental focus.
In its 2009 Environmental Report, LG outlines its current green operations and goes over some of its plans for the future.
The publication also features comments from the South Korean electronics firm’s vice chairman and chief executive officer Yong Nam, who explained the initiatives in place stretch to all aspects of company policy.
"Our effort to support the environment also extends to product development," he added. "The focus is to develop products that are eco-friendly in all phases of the product life cycle."
Other devices in the LG line up include the Cookie, Viewty Smart and Prada phone. The company also launched a live beta version of its Own Application Store this week.
