A new handset from LG has been praised for its low price tag and high photographic performance.

In a recent review for Mobile Burn, Russell Jefferies looks at the LG KC550 – which also goes by the name of the Orsay – and concludes the phone may well be worth considering.

He notes the South Korean manufacturer has already claimed it is the cheapest model available to boast a five-megapixel camera and this could be a major selling point for some.

"If you’re after an affordable camera phone, the KC550 should definitely be toward the top of your list," Mr Jefferies concludes.

The LG KC550 is equipped with a video camera, 2.4-inch screen, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and a microSD slot for memory expansion.

It is available on a number of contracts including some from Orange, O2 and Vodafone.
