ZTE Tania will be the first smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer to run the Windows Phone operating system.
ZTE is launching its first ever Windows Phone device for the UK which will feature a 4.3 inch display, 1GHz processor, a five megapixel camera, 5GB memory, 512MB RAM and, of course, running the latest Windows Phone 7.5 update.
The ZTE director of Mobile Operations, Wu Sa, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Microsoft and as a key partner will support the industry forecasted growth on this exciting new platform with both the ZTE Tania and in the future a growing range of devices.”
The ZTE Tania is said to be out on sale mid-February on pay monthly contracts ranging from £10 to £20 a month.
