TomTom has announced its new Apple iPhone device will ensure users can "securely integrate" their handset in a vehicle.
And the satnav producer has created the windscreen mount kit to enable users who have TomTom for their iPhone to view the application in their car, just like a normal in-vehicle navigation system.
Tom Murray, vice-president of market development at the satnav company, said it was designed partly for "demanding drivers".
He added: "It offers the fastest, neatest way to secure the iPhone into a car. Plus they get all the features of the original TomTom car kit for iPhone, for the best in-car experience."
In addition, the handset user can still make and answer phone calls on the gadget while it is in hold and there is an in-car charger included which will keep the phone’s battery going.
This launch comes after a newly invented application was developed for the iPhone, which allows the user to whistle and the device will ring.
