T Mobile has announced the launch of a new option it claims will cut call charges for friends and loved ones.
It noted the Family Booster add-on provides up to five family members access to unlimited calls, texts and picture messages to each other at an extra cost of £5 to just one member of the group.
This needs to be applied to the existing contract or pay-as-you-go tariff and works on a one-month rolling basis so no long-term commitment is required.
In addition, individuals can be involved in more than one plan – meaning there is more opportunity to save.
Steve Mitchell, head of pay monthly at T Mobile, said: "Whether it’s your daughter ringing for a lift after school […] or your dad sharing his latest joke, your family will always be able to stay in touch for free."
Consumers subscribing to a new contract with the carrier have a number of handsets to choose from including the Nokia 5800, BlackBerry 8110 and Sony Ericsson W705.
