There are a number of cheap mobile broadband packages to be had and consumers should move fast to take advantage of them, it has been advised.
According to Broadband Genie, a site which offers news and advice on developments in the sector, many providers are putting out great offers at the moment – but this may not last forever.
It is noted that those with high-capacity data needs have a wide selection of choices and those who have lower requirements are also going to be well served in the future.
Chris Marling, editor of the publication, explained there was enough competition in the market to ensure most users are being looked after, but added it was uncertain how long this would be the case.
"UK broadband providers are no mugs," he said. "Prices are currently low as companies fight for numbers in a growing market, but they realise the situation isn’t sustainable."
Earlier this month, Zotac International unveiled a new line of products at the CeBit international conference that could lead to greener mobile broadband technology.
