BlackBerry has experienced a good year, with Computer Weekly reporting that it is "commonplace" for large companies to provide such devices to its staff.

These kinds of devices bring the benefits of mobility to major corporations, the magazine explained.

BlackBerry has enjoyed a good year, having received four stars from PC Magazine for its Tour smartphone and the Editor’s Choice Award for the Curve 8900.

Meanwhile, a leak about HTC’s forthcoming line-up for the new year has been made.

Following the revelation, reports are now widespread that the provider intends to release five Android devices and three mobile phones for Windows.

The Windows 6.5 handsets bear the names Photon, Tera and Trophy.

Meanwhile, the Android ones are called the Buzz, Legend, Bravo, Tide and Salsa.

Industry analysts believe that the leaked line-up shows that HTC has plans to focus on Android products in the coming year.
