A new service from T Mobile, released as part of it promotion of the MyFaves packages, allows you to morph your mates into one another, through Facebook, according to a story from Pocket Lint. Using a program called Mate Morpher, you can put in pics of up to 5 of your friends, and see what they look like, all morphed up together.
So, you could pick the eyes from your best friend, the nose from your partner, the hair from a mate you met in the pub, and so on. ‘Course, you could always use it on yourself and your partner to see what any prospective kids would look like.
(Apologies to any men I scared then, by giving their girlfriends ideas…)
Now, this is the kind of application I like to see for mobile phones. Completely pointless, serving no useful purpose whatsoever, but hey, it’s a laff, innit!
I would love to try it, but I’m kinda scared what monstrosities would come out with me involved… so, in that case, over to you folks, if anyone’s got a Facebook profile, give it a whirl, (maybe with, ooh, you and your favourite celebrity), snag a screenshot of it, and let’s see what you look like blended with, for example, Johnny Depp.
