Yep, the news has broken today, and we found it on arstechnica.com. The GoogleOS is official and has a name.
Say hello to “Android”. Now, as everyone knows by now (even though it was super-secret, we all knew, let’s be honest), it’s based on Linux, which makes it completely open source, which in turn means third party applications aplenty!!
