I was watching Spooks on Tuesday (as one does, because it’s awesome), and inbetween downed cargo planes, fictional US airbases, UFO conspiracy nutters and Project Aurora, something caught my eye. A lot of MI5 operatives used mobile phones. But you know what?
They were all old ones!! I mean come on, MI5, you’re a big organisation, charged with protecting the UK from domestic threats, surely you can pop for something newer then a V3…
Hmmmmm, although…
If they gave them all RAZR2 V8‘s, they’d be too busy watching the Bourne Ultimatum, or something, to save the world (well, Suffolk, this week…)
It must be annoying though, if you’re a fictional MI5 operative, knowing that your main fictional rival at MI6, a certain Mr Bond, has better phones than you…
EDIT:
I’m waiting to see Chewie’s reaction to this post, and the mention of Aurora in it, since there is a bone of contention there between us… I’ll let you, the reader, work out which one of us is the conspiracy nut… lol

Of course it exists, they are everywhere. I was kidnapped one evening after leaving a bar in London. It was about 3am and suddenly my head started spinning. When I wke the next morning I couldn’t remember anything from the night, the last thing I could remember was ordering my 9th pint of Artois Bock.
And I had a massive headache when I woke up.
