Fonetastic Mobile is changing for the better! Mobileshop are making some improvements to the Fonetastic Mobile white label solution this week. In order that all affiliates know what is going on, they have compiled a small FAQ section of relevant issues that might come up: 1) Will new sign ups be any different in terms of their address? No, all existing sites will still be fonetasticmobile – as is currently. 2) Do the affiliates need to re-sign up to retain their usernames? No re-sign up needed – same URLs, log-ins etc. 3) Will my deep links change? We will be putting in place redirects for the deep-links to the handset/deal page – this means anyone deep linking to the current tarifflist.php or showphones.php should find that the re-direct will direct the browser to the correct page. Affiliate will then need to change to the correct new deep links as appropriate. 4) Will my custom logo change? No, if you have a custom logo uploaded it should stay the same 5) Will tracking be ok? There will be a brand new reporting system which is a lot more user friendly and drills down to the actually hour and minute in a day. This will help affiliates wanting to look into the stats in more detail. 6) How will the SEO of the sites be affected? Although there is no guarantee – and there maybe an initial blip, the new site platform will benefit from SEO work that we have done on the Mobileshop site and therefore we would be hoping to see a positive affect on SEO, rather than a negative one.
